By accessing or using our website located at www.lazarevagenealogy.com (the “Site”) and any genealogical research services we provide (collectively, the “Services”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, as well as all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Site or Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use our Site and Services. By using our Site and Services, you represent and warrant that:

3. Payment and Fees

No Online Credit Card Payments: At this time, we do not accept credit card payments due to banking constraints in Lebanon. Payment methods will be determined on a case-by-case basis through direct communication with you.
Payment Due Before Work Begins: All applicable fees must be agreed upon and paid before any research or related services commence.
No Refund Policy: Once payment has been made and work has started, all fees are non-refundable. This is due to the immediate nature of research expenses and the time invested. Please ensure you are certain about proceeding with our Services before making a payment.

4. User Conduct

When accessing or using our Site or Services, you agree to:

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Not engage in any fraudulent or deceptive practices.
Not upload, post, or otherwise transmit any unlawful, infringing, or harmful content through any means of communication with us.
Not interfere with or disrupt the operation of our Site, Services, or the servers or networks used to make our Site and Services available.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to our Site or Services if we suspect or determine you have violated these Terms.

5. User-Submitted Content (Genealogical Data)

Genealogical Data: By submitting genealogical information (e.g., documents, images, family history data) to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for the purpose of providing and improving our Services.

Content Warranty: You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to use and submit such content, and that your content does not violate any intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content: All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software (collectively, “Our Content”), is the property of Lazareva Genealogy or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Lazareva Genealogy or its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your access or use of, or inability to access or use, the Site or Services. In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount you have paid to us in the past six (6) months for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lazareva Genealogy and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lebanon for the resolution of any disputes.
